UCL Champions League DFS Picks – 2016 Week 6 Tuesday
The Champions league is once again taking the spotlight this week. This is the final week from the group stage and in turn is the hardest to predict and give solid DFS plays because a lot of top teams will bench the starters and play guys who do not get a lot of playing time. The round of 16 draw is Dec. 12 with the matches starting with leg 1 in Feb so this is the last Champions league week for a few months so lets enjoy and see if we can make some money this week. The most important thing this week is CHECK LINEUPS when they get released!
PSV-Rostov–One of the few games that matter is this game where PSV needs a win to gain a top 3 finish and continue the European competition play in the Europa league. Rostov coming off a huge upset of Bayern 3-2.
FWD-Luuk de Jong(PSV)
Bayern-Atletico-Both teams have advanced so this game will see a lot of subs to start and subs to come in. 2 teams with deep benches will have plenty to offer though.
Man. City-Celtic-Group C has all places confirmed and this game is between 2nd and 4th so once again this game should see subs from Man City while Celtic may start the starters to try and get experience against a top team.
Barcelona-Monchengladbach-A group C game again with 1st and 3rd facing off and Barcelona coming off a tough game again Real Madrid. Neymar and Rakitic will be suspended, expect a lot of subs again.
Benfica-Napoli-Both teams have things to play for. Winner advances in 1st a draw can get them both through.
Dynamo-Besiktas-Besiktas needs a win to advance to expect them to press a bad Dynamo team early and often.
Basel-Arsenal-Top 2 teams set in this group but Arsenal has to score more then PSG to win the group. Tough to say what the coaches do here if they just coast and go through or go all out and try to win the group.
PSG-Ludogorets-PSG has looked sluggish in recent games but a game against a weaker team should help them.
MID-Angel Di Maria(PSG)
Be sure to double check the lineups when they come out before game time because a lot of things can happen in practice or over competitions that could keep players out in the next few days. ALWAYS check the lineups before submitting your DFS teams.
I can always be reached on twitter at @CFBDrew with any lineup questions or comments. Thanks for reading.
