EPL DFS Picks – 2016 Week 12
Soccer, or football as it’s called everywhere except the USA, is the most followed and most profitable sport in the world. We here at Research Fantasy decided it’s time to focus some of our efforts on talking daily soccer now that FanDuel and DraftKings both offer the sport.
Now that the international break is done, this is the best time to start focusing on the EPL for DFS. 11 games into the season and I feel we have a good idea of what teams need to do not only in the transfer market, which starts in January but what they need to do to stay atop the league.
Sunderland-Hull City– A battle between 2 of the bottom 3 teams both fighting to stay in the first division and not be regulated. Both teams have a less than impressive defense so goals might be aplenty here.
FWD-Victor Anichebe(SUND), if he starts
Stoke City-Bournemouth-2 middle of the table teams hoping the first 1/4 of the season was a springboard for better things starting now.
MID-Xherdan Shaqiri(STOKE), if fit to play
Crystal Palace-Manchester City-Man City is a tired team playing in so many cups and league play but a trip to Palace should be just what they need to get back on track.
MID-Kevin De Bruyne(CITY)
Watford-Leicester City-After a huge season last year Leicester has come back to earth and in a hard way. Watford is a team on the rise and looks to continue its winning ways.
Everton-Swansea City-Swansea just trying to stay in the top division while Everton gets used to its new manager still. Look for Everton to go big and get the 3 points at home.
Southhampton-Liverpool-Liverpool is a scoring machine and right now they’re rested and ready to score more goals.
Tottenham-West Ham-Tottenham getting healthy with Kane back and West Ham in good form, should be a good game. Look for the draw.
This is just the first of what I hope to be many EPL write ups so any feedback and comments are always welcome. Be sure to double check the lineups when they come out Saturday morning before game time because a lot of things can happen in practice or over competitions that could keep players out.
I can always be reached on twitter at @CFBDrew with any lineup questions or comments. Thanks for reading.
