  College Football Week 1 Recap Week 1 Week 1 of the college football season is very similar for men and women around the country as Christmas is to children. I know in my house my wife and I were almost as excited as our daughter will be for Santa in a few months. Week 1 is always said to be the greatest ever, but this year may actually have been the greatest ever. From upsets to overtimes, this 2016 week 1 had it all and more. Let’s take a look at some of the action from week 1. Best game of the week: UCLA @ Texas A&M Up 24-9 in the 3rd quarter Texas A&M fans had to be very confident that this year’s team would be well on their way to victory but Heisman contender Josh Rosen showed he was ready for the bright lights of 2016. Rosen led his Bruins back to tie the game and had a chance to win it in regulation but an INT and a 4th down incompletion in OT showed us all that the kid may not be ready yet. Fantasy Spin: Jose Rosen may throw for yardage and a few touchdowns per game, but he isn’t a guy I find relevant in any fantasy format.
